Beginner Series

The Beginner Yoga Series is a 4 week introductory course in yoga. A perfect introduction to the philosophy and postures of yoga. It is designed so that upon completion, you will have acquired a foundation in yoga that will equip you to start sampling other classes and develop your own yoga practice.

The Program

The series is kept small so that participants have the opportunity to ask questions, “workshop”, and learn modifications for poses, and receive individual feedback about their alignment. Each day will focus on applying anatomy to yoga postures (known as “asanas” in yoga), practice, posture clinic, and yoga philosophy. The series will survey multiple styles of yoga, enabling students to make more informed and confident choices when choosing their classes in a studio environment. This is an ideal series to ease into the practice and teachings of yoga in a fun and supportive environment.
